๐๐ผโโ๏ธBy way of introduction....
It's occurred to me that I should do the intro thing (because, you know, being polite.)
Thanks for being here! (If youโre a subscriber, DOUBLE THANKS!!!! ) Did you know that if you hit the heart at the bottom or the top of this email it will help others discover my publication and also make me extremely happy?
Seriously, I am honored that youโre taking a minute to check out Continuing Wonderment. Hereโs a little bit of background info (who, what, why, etc.)
Moi? I am an aging artist/painter, life-long creative seeker, mother to two artist daughters, solo traveler chasing unruly thoughts and feelings and pinning them down here at CW. Actually Iโve been chasing them forever, I just never pinned them down in a place where they could be read by other eyes. ๐ (This is what Substack is for. ) Iโm not a published writer/author, except for some random articles and essays published eons ago in a few local weekly or monthly newspapers/magazines that no longer exist.
I kept a blog some years ago called Cleaning Up the Studio, which I just recently realized is still *partially* alive. I may have to revive it, somehow. (Note to self- remember to keep on top of the online thing.)
Iโve recently started Continuing Wonderment to examine, pursue, and illuminate observations and memories that bubble up in unexpected ways. Itโs where I share my take on art + life, memory + mystery, curiosity + caring, aging + questing. Iโm committing to a late-in-life writing practice because I feel driven to record noticings, ponderings and wonderings, and Iโd love to spark responsive engagement and meaningful interactions (from you).
My aim is to provide my Continuing Wonderment for you, in hopes that it might spark some of your own, in which case you can share it with me and the rest of this wonderful community. But whatever you do, please continue to wonder.
Thanks for being here! Writing is a renewed creative passion for me. If you appreciate Continuing Wonderment and what Iโm sharing, please let me know with a comment, a like โค๏ธ or share/restack to help my readership grow.
Thank you for the restack @Elizabeth Spring ๐
